EUROPEAN MARKETS CLOSE ON A LOW BECAUSE OF USA GROWTH FEARS

AGI) - Rome, Feb. 15 - European markets react negatively to fears concerning USA growth and potential new devaluations.
Banking shares suffered the most with Ubs losing 3.8% after that Citigroup estimated that the swiss group will have to deal with the devaluation of another 12 billion swiss francs this year. In London the Ftse 100 lost 1.66% to 5,781.50 points, Frankfurt's Dax 30 lost 1.87% to 6,832.43, and Paris' Cac 40 lost 1.79% to 4.771,79 points. Milan's Mibtel lost 1.42% to 25,587 and the Smi index in Zurich lost 1.99% to 7,353 points.
