MUMBAI: Reliance Capital Asset Management has collected 56.6 billion rupees in its new equity scheme, Reliance Natural Resources Fund, from about 1.5 million investors, the firm said in a statement on Friday.
The firm managed assets worth about 772 billion rupees at the end of January, data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India showed.
The new fund will invest in companies engaged in discovering and developing natural resources.
