UTV Software to raise Rs 100 cr by issuing warrants to LIC

Media and entertainment firm UTV Software today said its board has approved to raise Rs 100 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures to Life Insurance Corporation of India.

The board has also approved the appointment of Robert Gilby and Sanjay Purohit as additional directors, UTV Software said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Gilby is the nominee of The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Pte Ltd and Purohit would be an independent director, the filing added.
